All of us are connected to each other in one way or another. In turn most crucially with Mother Earth and to the creator himself.

Why Elephants in the main and pictures of Giraffes?

Simple they like us, portray a strong sense of family, important to all at this most precious time. If we are not careful we will lose them and in doing so lose a part of our greater family. Recently this week it was reported that giraffes are on the endangered list. Pictures maybe one day, be the only way we remember them.

The ropes symbolise the tentative thread that binds us to the creator.

In the same way St Gemma's Hospice is the tentative thread between living and passing into the eternal.
